Measuring Company Culture

Baxter regularly conducts companywide surveys to gather feedback from employees about what is going well and where the company needs to make improvements to be a high-performing organization. Baxter conducted its most recent survey just prior to the publication of this report in the spring of 2009. The company conducted previous surveys in 1999, 2003, 2005 and 2007.

Overall feedback from the 2007 survey was positive. Baxter introduced and enhanced several initiatives in 2008 to improve career development and cooperation across Baxter, which were the areas targeted for improvement. See Talent Assessment and Development for details.
